Every booking — a full payment, a 30% deposit, or a session extension — is non-refundable once it's confirmed. This applies no matter the reason: change of plans, cancellation, no-show, or anything else. We don't offer partial refunds, credits, or exceptions. Please make sure your date, time, studio, and engineer are right before you pay.
Sessions may be booked with a 30% deposit charged by card at the time of booking, with the remaining 70% collected in person (cash) at the session. The deposit holds your time slot. Like a full payment, it is not refunded for any reason once charged.
If you do not show up for a booked session, whatever was already paid (a deposit or the full amount) is kept in full. You will not be charged any remaining balance — the slot is simply released.
We don't process cancellations for a refund. If you need to move your session to a different time, text the studio at least 24 hours before your booked time and we'll reschedule you, space permitting — the same 24-hour minimum the booking page uses for new bookings. Requests made less than 24 hours out aren't guaranteed a reschedule. Either way, this doesn't change the no-refund policy above — money already paid carries over to the new time, it isn't refunded and rebooked.
Extending an existing session is billed the same way as a new booking — either paid in full at the time of the extension, or with the same 30% deposit / 70% cash-in-person split. Extension charges are covered by the same no-refund policy as the original booking.
Filing a card chargeback for a session that was booked and the slot held for you — instead of contacting us directly — will be contested with your booking confirmation as proof of the agreement.
